Job summary

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a Management Accountant for a business in the Halesowen area. You'll take ownership of monthly management accounts across several entities, ensuring accurate reporting, clear analysis and strong financial controls.

The role sits within a small, supportive finance team and requires someone comfortable working independently and managing deadlines, with predominantly office-based work and one day per week from home.

Qualifications

• QBE, Part Qualified or Newly Qualified will all be considered.
• Experience producing management accounts; multi-entity exposure beneficial.
• Confident using accounting/ERP systems such as Sage or Xero.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts across group entities.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and insight.
• Oversee key reconciliations linked to funding and working capital facilities.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
