Your newpany A leading provider of enterprise security solutions is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team! The business grew massively last year and has many exciting projects on the way, and therefore they need someone hands-on who can support the business's growth. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our financial decision-making process.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

1. Prepare and submit CIS returns in compliance with HMRC regulation.
2. Maintain an accurate record of subcontractor payments and deductions.
3. Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with relevant regulations.
4. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
5. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
6. Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts and reports.
7. Track the movement of goods.
8. Prepare monthly management accounts.
9. Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
