Your new company
This company is a growing IT services provider that has been around for decades and aims to expand its already successful accounts team.

Your new role
This role will involve managing the company's management accounts, including the following duties:

• Cash allocation
• Short-term cash flow forecasting
• Handling VAT and UK tax returns, including reconciliations
• Liaising with HMRC
• Monthly work-in-progress calculations and reporting
• Prepayments and accruals
• Managing all balance sheets and ensuring monthly reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly consolidated management accounts
• Playing a key role in the finance team to achieve business goals and develop key processes
• Driving continuous improvement in the finance function, focusing on controls and process enhancements
• Implementing best-in-class processes and controls
• Identifying opportunities for business efficiency and improving purchase and sales ledger procedures
• Serving as the point of contact for auditors and statutory accounts completion
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC and Companies House regulations
• Assisting with future M&A activities
• Integrating newly acquired businesses
• Rolling out the new ERP system (NetSuite)
• Collaborating with relevant stakeholders on ad hoc tasks
• Providing backup for payroll and managing payroll journals
