Job summary

Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group is seeking a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Management Accountant to take ownership of the management accounting remit within a growing business on Deeside. You will report to the Finance Director and contribute to projects while supporting the wider finance function.

The role offers hands-on involvement, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities for professional development as the company expands towards its £40m turnover target.

Qualifications

• Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant with drive to contribute beyond numbers.
• Experience with management accounting and financial reporting is preferred.
• Willing to work in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, accruals and prepayments for FD review.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Manage fixed asset register.
• Improve and maintain cost centre reporting.
• Payroll administration for ~55 employees.
• Produce financial analysis and management information.

TheRole

ReportingtotheFinanceDirector,youwilltakeownershipofabroadManagementAccounting

remitwhilealsogettinginvolvedinprojectsandsupportingthewiderbusiness.

Yourresponsibilitieswillinclude:

• PreparingmonthlymanagementaccountsaccrualsandprepaymentsanalysisforreviewbytheFD
• PreparingVATreturns
• Managingthefixedassetregister
• Improvingandmaintainingcostcentrereporting
• Managing payroll for approximately 55 employees (takes 2 days a simple process)
• Producingfinancialanalysisandmanagementinformation
• Dashboardanalysisandreporting
• Supportingbusinessimprovementprojects
• Workingcloselywithoperationalteamstounderstandthenumbersbehindthebusiness
• Gettinginvolvedinwiderfinanceandsystemsprojectsasthecompanycontinuestogrow
