Job summary

Edward Mann is recruiting for a Management Accountant for a FMCG business in Uxbridge. The role is Hybrid - 2 days in, 3 days WFH, reporting to the Finance Director with a dotted line to the Finance Manager.

You will prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets), produce reporting packs with analysis, support budgeting, assist with year-end and audits, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar level management accounting position.
• FMCG or Retail experience is desirable, but not essential.
• Part-qualified or finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts within timely deadlines (P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, loan accounts, fixed assets).
• Producing insightful reporting packs with analysis and commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.
• Support the annual and quarterly budgeting processes
• Support the year end procedure including assisting with audits
• Promote a continuous improvement approach to business policy & processes
• Assisting the Finance Manager with other ad-hoc duties, as and when required

Skills
