hireful is a technology company that develops cloud-based recruitment software (ATS) for small to medium UK businesses. As Head of Finance you will join the leadership team, balancing strategic decision making with hands-on delivery and will manage a small team across the UK and Spain.

The role is ideally part-time (about 25 hours per week, potentially moving to full-time). The office is in the Northamptonshire countryside with hybrid work 1–2 days per week.

Formación

• Senior finance experience in a similar sized company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA would be awesome.
• Aspiration to grow into a CFO role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in high-growth environments, ideally Private Equity backed.
• Experience running finance operations for multinational businesses desirable.
• Experience in software or services sector desirable.

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our leadership team as we embark on the next stage of our growth. This is a highly autonomous role that will balance strategic decision making with hands-on delivery.

This is ideally a part-time role. Our previous Head of Finance worked 25 hours a week. We anticipate this role is 25-30 hours per week, but perhaps transitioning to full-time hours in the future?

You’ll be managing a small team of 3 & will hold full responsibility for our finance operations, across the UK & Spain. Turnover is circa £6M pa, with a plan to grow at over 20% year-on-year. You will be providing the financial leadership as we continue on our journey.

We’re based in the Northamptonshire countryside, about 5 miles south of Wellingborough. We offer hybrid working but would need you in the office 1-2 days per week.

What will you be doing:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy.

What experience are we looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally for a similar sized / slightly larger company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA would be awesome.
• The desire to grow into a CFO role, if you’re not already there.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience working for a company focused on high growth, ideally Private Equity backed.
• Previous experience running the finance operations for multi-national businesses – desirable, but not essential.
• Previously worked in the software or services sector – desirable, but not essential.
