Job summary

A boutique financial services firm in the West End is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have ACCA/CIMA or ACA qualifications and will oversee responsibilities such as financial control, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential as the company looks to diversify operations due to high revenue growth. The position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 – £65,000, a performance-related bonus, and a supportive working environment with 3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities

Job description

Equifind are working with an exciting boutique family office/private equity/service provider based in the West End to seek a Finance Manager to join the team. With a strong track record of growth in recent years they are now diversifying operations through portfolio companies, and 3rd party work via investments.

It’s a great time to join as revenues are at an all time high, and the business is hiring across the board. From a finance perspective it consists of a CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Manager, this hire then through to two juniors within the team. The work you will be doing will cover all things from financial control, regulatory requirements, budgeting & forecasting and more all to be reported to the board.

Key deliverables include:

• Review and analyse monthly management accounts prepared by outsourced provider
• Working with departments to collect and consolidate date required for financial reporting, ensuring timely submissions
• Preparing fund recharges, including cost allocations and accurate recharges for different business units, funds, or departments
• Daily bank review, analysing movement of funds across accounts and entities
• Management of accounts payable mailbox, keeping flow and ensuring smooth transition through to outsourced providers
• Ownership of management and incentive fee receipts
• Assist on group regulatory requirements including FCA returns
• Assist the Financial Controller and CO with wider projects:
  • Implementation of bespoke FP&A system for department reports
  • FP&A system to provide budgets for daily/weekly and monthly spend (actual vs forecast)

Application Criteria:

• ACCA/CIMA or ACA qualified
• Financial services experience, or a strong desire to enter financial services
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-growing environment
• Strong communication skills

Compensation:

• £60,000 – £65,000 base salary
