Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a client based in Tewkesbury, seeking an interim Senior Accountant to join immediately. This role has been created due to recent growth and restructuring.

Duration: 6 months

Day rate: Up to £400 per day

Location: Onsite in Tewkesbury, 5 days a week (no hybrid working).

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organisational goals.
2. Advanced Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary, to support strategic decisions.
3. KPI Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor KPIs and recommend actions to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
4. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct analyses for projects to ensure optimal resource use and ROI.
5. Regulatory Compliance and Financial Statements: Assist in preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.
