Job summary

Anderson Knight is partnering with a well established organisation in Stirling to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant. You will support monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, with close collaboration across the finance team and wider stakeholders.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, contributing to business performance and decision making while developing in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Experience in a management accounting or month-end role.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Produce financial reports and analyses to support decision-making.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, providing financial insight.
• Assist in maintaining and improving financial controls and processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and drive efficiencies.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Contribute to finance projects and wider business initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required.

Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a well established and growing organisation to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business in Stirling, supporting key financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities while working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

The successful candidate will join a busy and supportive finance team, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and playing an important role in supporting business performance and decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Produce financial reports and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight and support.

About You

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience in a management accounting or month-end focused role.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Strong Excel skills and experience of working with finance systems.
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
