Management Accountant (Minimum 9-12 Months Contract) – Scunthorpe – £30,000 - £40,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a leading, international business based in Scunthorpe to recruit an Interim Management Accountant to join their busy, friendly Finance team for an initial 9-12 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with the Financial Controller and make a significant impact on the business as they implement a new system.

Interim Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and rebates
• Overhead analysis and monthly reporting
• Stock reporting, collaborating with managers to ensure efficiency
• Capex and fixed asset management and reporting, including analysis
• Quarterly cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Handling recharges and intercompany agreements
• Overseeing ledgers and payment runs
• Submitting payroll
• Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of a new ERP system
• Providing ad hoc management information reporting and analysis

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a varied accounting role, including producing management accounts
• Strong analysis and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly across all levels of the business
• Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel and accounting software
