About the Role:
RG consultancy are pleased to be working with a manufacturer based in Salford who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the business with insightful financial reporting, budget management, and analysis to aid decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis

Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Monitor financial performance and highlight variances

Maintain accurate accruals, prepayments and journals

Provide financial analysis to support business planning and strategy

Liaise with department heads to review cost centres and provide financial insight

Support year-end and audit processes

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Assist in the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes

Requirements:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)

Proven experience in a similar management accounting role

Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
