Job description

An immediate role for a Management Accountant has arisen with an innovative and modern business in central Norwich. They operate on a flexible and hybrid basis.
The role is likely to run for 4-6 months, possibly longer.

You are responsible for:

• Producing timely and accurate management accounts for multiple UK entities
• Presenting month end reporting to the finance team
• Support with year-end budget setting and re-forecasting
• Providing monthly variance analysis, analysing results against budgets and forecasts
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and correcting any variances where relevant
• Completing monthly revenue reconciliation
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Preparing bi-weekly cash flow forecasts
• VAT return preparation, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
• Completing other ad hoc statutory returns

Skills required:

• A financial professional with an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and 1+ years of post qualified experience
• Comfortable and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
• Competent with Excel
• Highly analytical, accurate and data driven
• A great communicator and a critical link between the financial and non-financial worlds
