Job summary

South West Norse in Norwich is seeking a Management Accountant for a full-time permanent role based at Head Office Unity Place. The position reviews and analyses initial management accounts for defined divisions within the Group, supporting Finance Business Partners with accurate data.

The successful candidate will have accounting qualifications, experience with management accounts, and strong analytical and communication skills to engage with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting qualification required (AAT, degree or ACCA).
• Experience producing management accounts and balance sheet schedules.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders across the business.
• Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and analyse initial management accounts for defined divisions within the Group.
• Ensure data is accurate to present commercial opportunities to Finance Business Partners and aid operational development.

Management Accountant - Norwich

We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team based at our Head Office Unity Place. This is a full time, permanent basis.

The Role

As the Management Accountant you will work alongside our team of Finance Business Partners, supporting in preparing, presenting, and analysing initial management accounts for defined divisions within the Group.

You will be responsible for ensuring data is accurate and current which will allow you to present efficient and commercial opportunities to the Finance Business Partners aiding the development of our operational services.

Our Successful Candidate

• Finance and/or accounting qualification (AAT / Degree / ACCA).
• Proven experience within a commercial finance role, with knowledge of producing management accounts and balance sheet schedules periodically.
• Excellent documentation skills, comfortable creating and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
• Confident communicator, capable of engaging effectively with a range of stakeholders across the business.
• Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT within a commercial finance environment.
