Senior Manager | Equifind | Finance & Accounting

Equifind is working with a well-renowned Investment Management business based in the West End to add a recently qualified accountant to the team!

To date, they have just over 200 investments and are now managing roughly $14bn of assets under management with only 53 people in the business. From a finance perspective, it is split into two teams (Fund & Corporate) with 9 heads across both. You'd be reporting into a Financial Controller and then further through to a CFO.

What will I be doing?

• Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts for the Group.
• Preparing individual monthly management accounts for the main UK entities and three overseas entities.
• Preparing month-end Management Information – including memos, commentary, and board reports.
• Producing Key Performance Indicator files and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Conducting analysis on the financials, including analytical review and commentary.
• Supporting junior staff including training and development.
• Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and actively clearing down balances.
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset register, ensuring it agrees with the management accounts, and ensuring all capital items are captured.
• Handling intercompany reconciliations for the Group.
• Owning the Corporation Tax and Partnership tax returns for each entity.
• Being a point of contact for the statutory financial audit.

Experience & Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Self-starter with the ability to deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner.
