We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is based in our Head Office in Central London (NW1 4LJ), with a hybrid working model. We are offering a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This full-time position follows a hybrid working pattern, primarily based in the office with increased on-site days during month-end.

Job Profile

As Management Accountant, you will support the production of accurate and timely financial reports, working closely with the Finance Manager and team. Your responsibilities include management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting, and cost reporting, all contributing to strategic decision-making.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience in finance and strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data management. Whether you are part-qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA), we offer study support and growth opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheets
  2. Post and reconcile accruals, prepayments, and journals
  3. Prepare schedules and variance analyses
  4. Monitor departmental spending and costs
  5. Analyze cost drivers and recommend efficiencies
  6. Provide financial data to support decisions
  7. Improve reporting processes and develop financial tools
  8. Support audit preparations and ensure compliance
  9. Maintain documentation and version control
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
Skills & Experience
  1. Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (or planning to start)
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills
  3. Understanding of financial principles and analysis
  4. Proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g., Meditech, SQL)
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Attention to detail and proactive approach
  7. Experience in healthcare is desirable
