Infiniium is working in association with a privately-owned property investment company owning a unique portfolio of freehold office, residential, hotel, retail, and leisure properties based in London.

We are seeking a talented, proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing business within one of the UK’s most competitive markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role offers the chance to utilize and expand your knowledge. The position is full-time, office-based at their prestigious Canary Wharf location. They promote a great work/life balance with a relaxed culture and genuine 9-5:30 hours.

About the Role – Role Overview

• Preparing management accounts from books of prime entry.
• Preparing accounting journals.
• Dealing with intercompany reconciliations.
• Assisting with year-end audit.
• Preparing / assisting with the preparation of bank covenant reports.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Proactively resolving queries.
• Providing ongoing support for the existing finance team.

Personal Qualities, Skills & Attributes

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant; strong candidates qualified by experience with relevant property backgrounds may also be considered.
• Experience in a similar role or industry.
• Strong time management skills.
• Exposure to VAT treatment in the property sector.
• Exposure to service charge accounting.
• Good IT skills, including advanced Excel.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
