Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We're looking for a talented Management Accountant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis based in our Leicester site (Hybrid 2-3 days per week on site depending on business needs and travel to Crick, Head Office when required).

What you'll do on a typical day:

1. Produce financial and operational management reports for the site, business, and customer.
2. Manage full month-end and balance sheet responsibilities.
3. Customer data entry and analysis.
4. Internal flash reports, forecasting, and budgeting.
5. Manage key accounts, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Ensure customer retention and seek growth opportunities.
7. Partner with the central finance team.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

1. Ideally, be a part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or studying towards qualification.
2. Have excellent data manipulation skills and confidence managing multiple data streams.
3. Be a confident business partner, able to communicate effectively at all levels and challenge stakeholders.
4. Demonstrate drive, energy, and commitment to the team and contracts.
5. Be inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams to improve performance.
6. Experience in large, open-book logistics is desirable.
