Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Bolton-based finance team onsite. You will produce monthly management accounts and provide commentary to senior management and stakeholders.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting, analyse variances and manage costing, stock control and inventory. The role involves line management of two staff and requires a qualified accountant with product-based experience.

Job description

My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Bolton. They are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant finance function, this is an excellent opportunity within a larger group structure so there is fantastic scope for development and progression. As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, providing commentary on performance to senior management and key stakeholders, completing budgeting and forecasting, analysing variances, as well as dealing with costings, stock control and inventory management. You will also have line management responsibility for two staff members. This role will suit a qualified accountant who has experience in a product based environment and is competent in stock control and inventory management. The salary on offer is paying up to GBP60,000 dependant on experience and the role will be based onsite, potential for 1 day a week from home down the line.
