Job summary

SF Partners in Bolton is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a busy finance team on a permanent basis. You will produce monthly management accounts, provide commentary to senior management, and lead budgeting and forecasting efforts.

The role covers costings, stock control and inventory management, with line management responsibility for two staff members. The position is onsite with potential for one day per week working from home in the future.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in a product-based environment.
• Experience producing monthly management accounts and management commentary.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Solid understanding of stock control and inventory management.
• Experience leading a small team (line management of two staff).

Job description

My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Bolton. They are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant finance function, this is an excellent opportunity within a larger group structure so there is fantastic scope for development and progression.

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, providing commentary on performance to senior management and key stakeholders, completing budgeting and forecasting, analysing variances, as well as dealing with costings, stock control and inventory management. You will also have line management responsibility for two staff members.

This role will suit a qualified accountant who has experience in a product based environment and is competent in stock control and inventory management.

The salary on offer is paying up to £60,000 dependant on experience and the role will be based onsite, potential for 1 day a week from home down the line.
