Job summary

Elevation Accountancy & Finance is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team in Harrogate. In this role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts, overseeing financial records, and supporting the Financial Director. Ideally, you will have an AAT qualification and experience in SME management accounting, particularly in the automotive sector. Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work on a office based / permanent basis in Harrogate.

You will become part of a small, friendly, close-knit team, working very closely with the Financial Director, where you will hold responsibility for producing monthly management accounts, overseeing ledgers as well as supervising the accounts assistant. This includes preparing, inputting and reviewing monthly management accounts including prepayments/ accruals, forecasting, P & L, budgeting and overseeing transactional finance.

Automotive sector background & AAT Qualification would be highly beneficial.

Duties Include;

• Preparing, inputting and reviewing monthly management accounts journals
• Management of sales, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets & depreciation
• Month end reporting & analysis
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts, reconciliations of bank transactions, P&L and balance sheet reviews

Key Skills & Experience required:

• SME Management Accounting experience
• AAT Qualified would be highly beneficial
• Automotive experience beneficial, not essential

This is a permanent, fully office based role, with salary up to £38k depending on experience.
