Job summary

Creative Support, a leading social housing and care provider, is seeking a motivated Management Accountant for our Stockport Head Office. You will produce monthly MI reporting and take lead on Fixed Asset accounting, while driving improvements across reconciliation and financial reporting streams.

The role requires high organisation, flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently with strong MS Excel skills and clear communication across teams.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and proactive professional to join our Financial Reporting Team as a Management Accountant. This role is based at our Head Office in Stockport, working within our friendly Finance Department.

Creative Support is a Registered Provider of Social Housing and leading social care provider, supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and other support requirements across England for over 35 years. This is an excellent opportunity for a person with relevant accounting expertise to develop their skills in a multi-cost centre system, while making a positive contribution to our valuable work.

You will work closely with other team members and across the wider Head Office departments, and enjoy building positive relationships with colleagues. You will play a key role in producing monthly MI reporting, with lead responsibility for all Fixed Asset accounting (including process development). You will also have the opportunity to implement improvements in systems and processes within our reconciliation & financial reporting work streams, and we encourage applications from enthusiastic and motivated candidates.

You will need to be well organised, hard-working, and flexible, as this is a fast paced and challenging role, reporting across multiple income streams. You must be able to work independently, manage your own workload, and respond flexibly to the needs of the team & the wider organisation. You will be exceptionally proficient in MS Excel, with excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Our Head Office is located in close proximity to transport links with Stockport train and bus stations being a 5–10 minute walk away.
