Job summary

HCA UK is seeking a Management Accountant (part-qualified or studying ACA/ACCA) to join the PSG Finance team in London. The role covers distributions, board reporting and commercial analysis across Joint Ventures, with close collaboration to hospital finance teams and investors.

Management Accountant (Part Qualified or studying towards ACA/ ACCA)

2 Cavendish Square, London Full Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm Permanent Competitive Salary Dependent on Experience

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our PSG Finance team based in 2 Cavendish Square. The team is responsible for supporting a portfolio of Joint Ventures and business partnerships, providing accurate financial reporting, analysis and commercial insight to Senior Management, HCA Head Office and investors. Working closely with hospital finance teams, investors and key stakeholders, the team ensures the financial integrity and performance of these ventures while helping to drive informed business decisions. As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ownership of dividend and distribution calculations, and meaningful analysis across multiple Joint Venture entities. You'll be responsible for preparing board reporting packs, supporting forecasting and budgeting activities, and providing commercial insight on business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with management accounting or audit experience who is studying towards a professional qualification and is looking to further develop their commercial finance expertise within a complex and fast-paced healthcare environment. What you’ll do:
  • Take ownership of the accounting, calculation and payment of distributions and dividends across Joint Venture entities.
  • Prepare quarterly board packs, financial reports and investor reporting, providing analysis and commentary on business performance.
  • Complete monthly accounting activities for Primary Care Joint Ventures, including accruals, reconciliations, revenue recognition and debtor management.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, business valuations and other commercial finance projects.
  • Liaise with auditors, hospital finance teams, investors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience within a management accounting, commercial finance or audit role
  • Studying towards or part-qualified in ACA or ACCA
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to tight deadlines
