Haven House seeks a part-time Management Accountant to join our small finance team. This hands-on role reports to the Head of Finance and supports budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across our charity.

Salary : £35,000 (FTE £43,750).
Hours : 28 hours a week.
We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our small, collaborative finance team on a permanent, part‑time basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this new hands‑on role will play a key part in delivering high‑quality financial insight and supporting decision‑making across an expanding organisation.

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the organisation.
Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and provide meaningful insight.
Partner with budget holders to support informed decision‑making and financial accountability.
Help strengthen financial controls, reporting processes and system efficiency.
Strong QBE accountants with management accounting experience.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present financial information clearly.
Experience supporting budgets, forecasts and month‑end reporting processes.
Confident communicator, able to build relationships with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
Organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Acting as a first point of contact for families and professionals, triaging enquiries and ensuring they are passed to the right team promptly.
Coordinating in‑house and community bookings and maintaining accurate records on the Care Database.
Liaising with families to provide information, reassurance and signposting to relevant services.
Attending weekly multidisciplinary panel meetings and ensuring referrals are acknowledged and actioned.
Supporting coordination of the Pharmacy Clinic alongside the Pharmacy Technician (including one Saturday morning per quarter).
Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the Care team, including minute taking and project work.
Extracting and preparing activity data and supporting audits and reporting.
Supporting service volunteers and contributing to a smooth‑running administrative function.
