Job summary

TC Group is seeking a Management Accountant for its Fareham team. You will oversee monthly management accounts, prepare accounts for complex subsidiaries, and monitor cash flow while supporting Finance Assistants. The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy and stakeholder engagement across the business.

The ideal candidate will have practice experience, ACCA/ACA qualification with 1–3 years PQE or equivalent, strong IT skills (Xero, Excel, Co-pilot) and a detail‑oriented, communicative approach.

Qualifications

• Previous accountancy practice experience.
• ACCA / ACA qualified with 1-3 years post qualification experience. Qualified by experience or AAT Qualified candidates will be considered.
• Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise and manage workload.
• Be proficient in Xero, Excel and Co-pilot.
• Reliable and capable with a passion for detail who takes pride in producing high quality work.
• An efficient and personable communicator who is able to build and manage relationships.
• Confident dealing with varied financial queries from a range of stakeholders across the business.

The Opportunity

As our Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for working within the finance team and reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will involve overseeing and reviewing the production of monthly management accounts for accountancy practice subsidiaries, preparing management accounts for more complex subsidiaries, authorising payments and cash flow monitoring at a subsidiary level. You will also support and help develop the Finance Assistants.
