Job summary

TC Group, a fast-growing Top 20 UK accountancy firm, is hiring a Management Accountant for the Fareham team. You will help produce monthly management accounts, review subsidiary reporting and assist with cash flow monitoring, reporting to the Head of Finance.

Ideal candidates have ACCA/ACA or AAT, 1–3 years PQE, and strong skills in Xero and Excel. You will work in a supportive, collaborative culture with flexible and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA or AAT qualification with 1–3 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload.
• Proficiency in Xero, Excel and Co-pilot; meticulous with detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts for subsidiaries.
• Review production of management accounts and authorise payments.
• Monitor cash flow at subsidiary level.
• Support and develop Finance Assistants.

The Opportunity

As our Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for working within the finance team and reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will involve overseeing and reviewing the production of monthly management accounts for accountancy practice subsidiaries, preparing management accounts for more complex subsidiaries, authorising payments and cash flow monitoring at a subsidiary level. You will also support and help develop the Finance Assistants.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• ACCA / ACA qualified with 1-3 years post qualification experience. Qualified by experience or AAT Qualified candidates will be considered.
• Strong organisation skills, be able to prioritise and manage your workload
• Be proficient in Xero, Excel and Co-pilot
• Reliable and capable with a passion for detail who takes pride in producing high quality work
• An efficient and personable communicator who is able to build and manage relationships.
• Confident dealing with varied financial queries from a range of stakeholders across the business.
