About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Exeter-based finance team. You will manage financial transactions, deliver insightful financial information, and contribute to process improvements across finance operations. Your role will add commercial value through analysis, interpretation, and effective communication with partners and managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly management reports
• Develop the finance business partnering function
• Support client-facing service lines and enablement functions with financial information
• Assist in budget preparation and forecast reviews
• Prepare draft financial statements and liaise with auditors
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal controls, including LLP, SORP, VAT, and Corporation Tax
• Manage daily operations of the finance transaction team
• Improve financial controls and processes
• Promote a culture of strong controls, customer service, and continuous improvement

About You

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (part-qualified considered)
• Experience in monthly management accounts, including month and year-end processes
• Business partnering experience, including variance analysis and commentary
• Budgeting and forecasting skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, remote)
• Mentoring and coaching abilities
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Relationship management skills
