Management Accountant - Maternity Cover - Hybrid Working - Darlington-Based

Job Opportunity: Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) - Manufacturing | Darlington | Hybrid | Until March 2026

Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading
manufacturing company based in Darlington, seeking a talented individual to join their finance team on a maternity cover contract until March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales and margin analysis (volume, price, mix) against budget and forecast
• Deliver insightful reporting using Business Intelligence (BI)/Data Warehouse tools
• Manage warranty and rebate calculations and analysis
• Perform overhead cost analysis, including accruals and provisions
• Complete sales company group reporting packages with variance analysis
• Prepare monthly management accounts and divisional review presentations
• Lead monthly P&L forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning
• Support the annual budgeting process and reporting deliverables

About You:

• Finalist or fully qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Strong background in business partnering and financial analysis
• Proficient in financial systems and BI tools
• Available to start immediately or at short notice
