Job summary

The Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Management Accountant for a 3‑month contract in Croydon. The role includes budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and cost analysis with hybrid working after training.

You will deliver accurate month‑end reporting, partner statements, accruals and reconciliations, and support dynamic commercial decision making for the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Experience preparing accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets and forecasts
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

Management Accountant

Location: Croydon

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Rate: £22.00 per hour

Contract: 3 months with possible extension

Start Date: ASAP

Working Pattern: Primarily onsite during training, with the possibility of up to 2 days per week remote working after training has been completed, subject to manager discretion

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will provide high-quality financial and operational information to support business performance and decision-making. You'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, partner statements, commercial analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Produce and reconcile partner statements accurately and on time.
• Prepare accruals and prepayments.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within an operational environment such as retail, logistics, distribution, healthcare or similar service-led businesses
• Understanding of financial and operational performance drivers
• Experience using Sage
• Previous experience working with large datasets and financial systems
