Job summary

Cera Limited, Colchester-based HealthTech leader, seeks a qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA finance professional to provide essential financial oversight for operating companies. You will own the month-end cycle, manage inter-company journals, and support audits while offering commercial insight for strategic decisions.

Based in Colchester, you will work with a dynamic finance team to ensure robust controls, accurate management accounts, and insightful variance analysis across the group.

Qualifications

• Qualified or Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with strong UK accounting standards knowledge.
• Experience in management accounts, judgmental accruals, and variance analysis.
• Oracle NetSuite experience is highly desirable and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Produce and review entity management accounts and variance analysis.

Job description

This is a wide-ranging, ambitious role for a Qualified or Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) professional. You will be a key part of our Colchester-based team, providing essential financial oversight for our Operating Companies (Op Co).,

• Financial Reporting: Produce and review entity management accounts, including branch P&Ls and variance analysis.
• Month-End Mastery: Oversee the month-end close (journals, accruals, accrued income, and prepayments) and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Inter-company: Manage inter-company journals and IC account reconciliations.
• Compliance & Audit: Act as a key point of contact for external auditors and ensure effective operational controls.

• Experience: Proven track record in management accounts, judgmental accruals, and variance analysis.
• Systems: Oracle NetSuite experience is highly desirable (but we can train on this). Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Audit: Experience working alongside auditors for statutory completions.
