Kenton Black Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a business that is based in the Buckshaw Village area. Your new role as the Management Accountant:

Reporting to, and supporting the Head of Finance, this is a varied role, with internal progression available for the right candidate.

1. Production of monthly Management Accounts, including all accruals, prepayments and fixed assets registers for multiple entities.
2. Monitor adherence to accounting standards and regulations across all subsidiaries, ensuring consistent financial reporting practices.
3. Cashflow management.
4. Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
5. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
6. Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and business growth.
7. Supporting the Head of Finance with process improvements, and system implementations.
8. Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements.
9. Utilise accounting software such as Xero, and Excel to manage financial data efficiently.
10. Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.

Experience & Skills required to apply:

1. Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role within finance or accounting.
2. Strong knowledge of month-end process and ledger management principles.
3. Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Xero is desirable but not essential.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
7. A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.
8. Experience with intercompany charges.
