Our client operates in a fast-paced, dynamic industry and are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Clients finance team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive and high-performing team in a role that offers variety and meaningful impact.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will play a key role in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will also support strategic decision-making by providing insightful financial reporting and commentary.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts
• Analyse variances against budget and forecast, providing clear commentary
• Assist in the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting processes
• Support cost control initiatives and financial performance reviews
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial controls are adhered to
• Collaborate with non-financial stakeholders to provide financial insights
• Assist with year-end audit and ad hoc financial reporting as required
  
  

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or finalist with relevant experience
• Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a similar industry
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
