Management Accountant - Bradford - £55,000 - Full-Time | Permanent- Newly Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Role Overview:

Are you newly qualified and looking to make your first or second move into industry? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a Top 10 audit firm or an industry trained accountant, ready to step into a broad and hands-on Management Accountant role.

You’ll be joining a fast-paced and supportive finance team, taking full responsibility for the month-end process while developing your commercial awareness and adding real value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full month-end process: journal posting, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
• Produce monthly reporting packs with clear commentary for senior stakeholders
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insight and analysis to support business planning
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to understand performance drivers and provide finance input
• Support internal and external audit requirements with clear documentation and control
• Identify and drive process improvements across financial reporting and month-end routines
• Get involved in ad hoc projects and analysis as required by the finance leadership team

What We’re Looking For:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (newly qualified or up to 3 years PQE)
• Experience in audit (Top 10 firm) or a strong management accounting background in industry
• Solid understanding of financial statements and month-end reporting cycles
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with good commercial awareness
• Confident communicator, able to work with finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Eager to learn, grow and take on responsibility in a fast-moving environment
