Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is recruiting a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a nationwide finance team in a hybrid role. You will support monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, stock reconciliations and provide insightful ad hoc reports to support decision-making.

Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail are essential for this role. Based in Bishop's Stortford with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• To be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are expected.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing monthly management accounts.

We continue to support a nationwide organisation who are now expanding their finance team, appointing a part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Assistant Management Accountant.

You will be responsible for supporting the production of the monthly management accounts, cash and sales reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and overhead analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and relevant KPI’s.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and expenditure analysis, ensuring completeness and integrity.
• Prepare stock reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of stock invoices
• Deliver high-quality, insight-driven ad hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare overhead analysis and explain variances to the budget.

The successful individual will be a part-qualified finance professional (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, possessing excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You will demonstrate a proactive approach to cost control, compliance, and continuous improvement, while confidently tackling complex problems with a logical and structured mindset. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, supporting effective financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
