Job summary

Concept Technical has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant in Birmingham. The successful candidate will support the Chief of Planning and Control by providing comprehensive financial reporting and analysis, actively contributing to the Management Accounts Team's success. Required qualifications include full ACCA, ACA, or CIMA certification and relevant experience in a national or multinational setting, implementing finance projects and adherence to established financial processes.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• Experience in a large national or multinational environment.
• Project experience is highly desirable.

Here at Concept Resources we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well established business in Birmingham, The role will be to support the Chief of planning and control and the wider team in providing the necessary reporting to both local and group management.

Role Responsibilities

• This role is an integral part of the Management Accounts Team, with the responsibility for following types of key management activities.
• Preperation and review of strategic and single year budgets, periodic reviews and forecasts
• Support the management, through provision of relevant, targeted information analysis and advice
• Ensure financial procedures and processes are followed in order to safeguard the company results and financial assets
• Be able to assist / support the whole finance team, sharing ideas and be a positive influence in the way the department operates

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA

Experience

• Experience within a large national or multi national environment
• Will have been involved in and ideally taken the lead on key finance projects
• Project experience is highly desirable

Skills

• Be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and understand / interperet information
• Excellent communication skills, easily connect with stakeholders at different levels
• Must be able to negotiate and influence, whilst maintaining a strong working relationship.
• Fully IT literate, high proficiency in MS Excel, experience is SAP is desirable
• Should be a good team player, be dynamic and have an enthusiastic perspective.
• Comfortable with adapting to and driving change
• Need to be flexible, be able to meet deadlines within a pressurised enviroment
