Based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, our growing client seeks a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working in a hybrid manner after a successful training period.

Job Overview

This role is suitable for someone with proven experience in owning the monthly management pack production for multinational companies, with multi-currency experience in dollars or euros, which is essential.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders daily.
• Excellent working knowledge of Access Dimensions, InTime, Bullhorn, or similar systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including PivotTables and VLookups.
• Proven experience in managing multi-currency transactions, specifically in dollars and euros.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly management accounts.
2. Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the accounts function.
3. Generate and review gross margin reports.
4. Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Analyze travel expenses and calculate PSA liability.
6. Prepare accruals, prepayments, commission reports, VAT returns, and statutory reports.
7. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
8. Perform bank and IDF reconciliations.
9. Assist with audits (statutory, bank, and ISO).
10. Provide monthly financial reports to the leadership team and business units.
