Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a seasoned Managed Services Lead Architect to join a MOD account in Manchester on a hybrid basis. This contract role runs for 6 months, paying £575 per day inside IR35, with on-site work three days a week.

You will own end-to-end architecture across contracted services, govern changes, provide strategic direction, and engage senior client stakeholders to keep architecture aligned with requirements and the MOD environment.

Qualifications

• Experience governing end-to-end architecture of a complex technology landscape.
• Lead Architect experience within large Managed Services accounts.
• Knowledge of contracts and commercials with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Governance of change within, and ownership of, the Account Architecture in Managed Services contracts.
• Stakeholder management for internal and client parties.
• Strategic mapping of technology landscape including roadmaps and future state architectures.
• Provide trusted advice to the Client by cultivating strong symbiotic client relationships.
• Direction and guidance on technical aspects, ensuring adherence to standards and client requirements.

Role Description

We're seeking a seasoned Managed Services Lead Architect to join a high-profile MOD account, supporting a client undergoing significant transformation and modernisation. Digital transformation is at the heart of their strategy, creating an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future technology landscape.

As the Account Lead Architect, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end architecture across the contracted services, acting as the focal point for technical integrity, architectural governance and strategic direction. You'll work closely with senior client stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the architecture remains aligned with both the client's requirements and the wider MOD environment.

Your role

• Governance of change within, and take ownership of, the end-to-end Account Architecture within Managed Services contracts, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to standards.
• Key stakeholder management for internal, as well as external parties.
• Strategic mapping of the technology landscape strategy including roadmaps, and future state architectures, fully aligned with contractual commitments and client needs.
• Trusted advice to the Client by cultivating strong symbiotic Client relationships.
• Direction and guidance on technical aspects, ensuring adherence to standards and practices while aligning with client requirements.

Your skills and experience

• Experienced of governing and owning the end-to-end architecture of a complex technology landscape.
• Can demonstrate experience of operating as a Lead Architect within the constraints and complexities of large Managed Services accounts.
• Able to demonstrate a knowledge of contracts and commercials as well as proven stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
