Job description

Major Recruitment is currently seeking a Managed Print Service Sales Specialist for our prestigious client based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. Due to continued growth and success, a new opportunity has arisen within the Managed Print Services team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the Managed Print industry and will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, providing customers with bespoke, value-added solutions.

Summary of Position:

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Experience in Field Sales of MPS Solutions and Products
  • Experience with Canon, HP, Lexmark, and Epson
  • Expertise in Hybrid mail, EDM, document workflow, Uniflow, Papercut, and Pull Print Solutions
  • A proven sales track record within the MPS sector
  • Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the MPS Industry
Main Duties:
  • Work closely with the Technology Management team and Account Managers
  • Create new opportunities across the full customer base, ensuring resources are appropriately deployed
  • Engage with new customers to determine their printing and document management requirements, define solutions, and create compelling propositions, closing deals and providing commercial direction for projects
  • Prepare customer quotations and written proposals, and respond to tenders
  • Proactively build customer contacts and rapport across multiple clients
  • Arrange and attend meetings with prospective and existing customers to raise awareness and sell Managed Print and Document solutions
  • Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage at all levels
Key Competencies & Qualifications Required:
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales and Business development
  • Experience with KPIs and performance management in Field Sales
  • Keen business acumen
  • Good understanding of Excel
  • Ability to build relationships quickly within the team and with clients
  • Understanding of our component offerings and the ability to articulate the Complete proposition fluently
  • A positive, entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to succeed through hard work
