Job summary

NHS Scotland in Edinburgh is seeking a part‑time Radiographer to perform mammographic examinations under a Specialist Radiographer and support the breast screening programme.

You will organise screening sessions, run QA tests, and provide health education to attendees, within the Scottish Breast Screening Programme South East Division. PVG clearance is required; applicants from diverse backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership is required/Disclosure Scotland clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mammographic examinations under supervision as part of breast screening services.
• Contribute to the delivery of a high‑quality breast imaging service within the SBSP South East Division.
• Manage day-to-day organisation of routine screening sessions and related QA tests.
• Provide Health Education to clients attending for screening.
