Job summary

NHS Tayside invites applications for an Advanced Practice Radiographer to join the breast unit, combining screening and symptomatic services. You must be HCPC registered with post-qualification mammography experience and hold a PgCert or equivalent in mammography.

The role includes interventional biopsy procedures, some travel to mobile units, and a defined managerial workload while keeping up-to-date clinical skills.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered radiographer with post-qualification mammography experience.
• PgCert or equivalent in mammography and postgraduate certificate in Interventional Breast Procedures.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Tayside and North East Fife.

Responsibilities

• Undertake interventional x-ray guided vacuum/core biopsy procedures.
• Take on defined managerial work while maintaining mammography expertise.
• May work on mobile breast screening units and travel to different locations.
• Engage in CPD sessions and MDT meetings.
