Job summary

ABM is seeking a Security Officer at MCARTHUR GLEN - WEST MIDLANDS to be the public face of the security team. You will deliver first-class customer service, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining safety for visitors and tenants.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a professional, helpful approach, and willingness to work a 32-hour week across days, nights, and weekends. Attractive benefits and employee support are provided.

Qualifications

• SIA license required to work on site.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• First Aid training is beneficial and encouraged.
• Ability to work as part of a security team and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors and tenants to provide first-class customer-focused service.
• Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre as per site instructions.
• Safeguard the site ensuring a safe, non-threatening environment for visitors and tenants.
• Manage incidents per site policies and liaise with Control Room as needed.
• Record non-conformances and emergencies and keep colleagues informed.
• Respond promptly to security issues and complete training requirements.
