Job summary

Priority Recruitment is seeking a Male Support Worker in Chester on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). The role involves accompanying a male client with a brain injury, supporting daily living tasks (not personal care), and helping him access community activities. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will drive the client in his car to various outings.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays. Experience in care is required, and DBS fees are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Male candidate is required for this role as per job specification.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support with daily living tasks (non-personal care).
• Help the client engage in community activities and accompany him to places like the gym.
• Use a personal vehicle to transport the client and drop/pick up family members.

Company and Role:

• The client is a male with a Brain Injury.
• No personal care required, it will be supporting him with daily living tasks.
• The individual loves going to the gym, getting tattoos, listening to rock musicand being around his animals.
• The client has different pets in his home such as Bearded dragon Lizard, Iguanas, snakes, fish and a dog.
• The shifts are across Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays.
• Required to drive and have access to your own vehicle to take the individual out into the community.
• This isn't just care, it's about being a companion, helping someone live fully, and making every day count.

Successful Applicant:

• Must have a full UK Driving License and use clients large car (Ford Ranger) to take the client into the community and supporting with dropping off and picking up family
• Experience working with individuals with a Brain Injury and Complex Care.
• Previous experience in care is essential.
• Must be okay being around animals.
• Must be a male Support Worker.
