Hours: 35-40 per week (hours are negotiable)

Our Leicester location is opening soon, and we’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Restaurant Floor Supervisor to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. Key responsibilities:

We’re looking for confident, adaptable individuals excited to be part of something new. You’ll receive full training to help you settle into the Maki & Ramen way and lead with confidence from day one.

  • Supervise daily floor operations to ensure smooth service.
  • Coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
  • Monitor table turnover, reservations, and guest flow to maintain efficiency.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Support, train, and motivate staff to deliver consistent performance.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in inventory tracking, staff scheduling, and shift planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Delegation and coordination of tasks during busy shifts
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role (e.g., head server, shift leader)
  • Familiarity with basic reporting (e.g., shift logs, incident reports)
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
