Job summary

West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Vehicle Preparation Operatives for a reserve pool to cover vacancies as they arise over the next year. You will prepare ambulances and cars, ensuring they are clean, stocked and ready for daily operational use.

Successful applicants must be flexible to work 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. DBS checks and right-to-work in the UK are part of the recruitment process for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience of stock taking and vehicle readiness.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• GCSEs (English & Maths) or equivalent.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.

Responsibilities

• Make ready preparation of vehicles and equipment for daily use.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and stocked and ready for operations.
• Work across shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Follow health and safety policies and DBS requirements where applicable.
