Due to major programme wins in our Health and Real Estate sectors, Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for procurement professionals to join our team.

Our wider team includes specialists in procurement, contract strategy, claims management, and dispute resolution. We are recognized by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) for excellence in procurement processes, receiving the Procurement Excellence Programme Award.

The Opportunity

The individual will lead our highly skilled team, delivering strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services.

  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes
  • Support development of procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend
  • Lead and develop a team to achieve successful client outcomes
  • Manage client relationships and project deliverables
  • Support business development and marketing efforts
  • Lead bid preparation and proposal documentation
  • Contribute to team and business targets

Qualifications & Experience
  • Leadership in strategic procurement projects for public and private sectors
  • Strong background in tender preparation, development, management, and negotiation
  • Experience in contract development, particularly NEC and JCT
  • Cross-sector experience, especially in public procurement, is highly desirable
  • Willingness to work towards or hold MCIPs accreditation
  • Degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law, or procurement preferred
  • Experience in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure sectors is a plus
