Job summary

East Midlands Private Hospital is actively seeking experienced Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioners to join the Theatres department. The role involves supporting surgeons through major orthopaedic procedures, preparing the operating theatre, and maintaining sterile technique to ensure patient safety.

Applicants should hold a Theatre/Scrub qualification with UK theatre experience, and current NMC or HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• Valid Theatre/Scrub qualification from UK.
• Previous UK theatre experience required.
• Recent major orthopaedic scrub experience.
• Experience assisting with major orthopaedic procedures.
• Knowledge of orthopaedic instruments and equipment.
• Strong sterile techniques and infection prevention
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary theatre team
• Current NMC or HCPC registration, as applicable
• Right to work in the UK
