Job summary

Crawford in Birmingham is seeking a Major and Complex Loss Surveyor to investigate and produce factual surveying reports for large, technical claims, including flood-related business interruption and catastrophe events.

You will work with the Major Loss Team Leader within set SLAs, ensuring all factual information is present and clearly documented, coordinating with Clients and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex/major loss claims or surveying preferred.
• Ability to produce accurate, factual survey reports under SLA.
• Strong communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate major losses and prepare factual surveying reports for Clients and Major Loss Team Leader.
• Ensure information is complete and documented within SLA requirements.

Our Major and Complex Loss teams are at the heart of our business: Managing the more technical and complex claims ranging from flood damage resulting in Business Interruption to claims associated with catastrophic events. As a Major and Complex Loss Surveyor, you’ll investigate and provide factual surveying reports to our valued Clients and the Major Loss Team Leader within set SLA’s, working in partnership to ensure all factual information is present.

This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work in the office 2/3 days per week.
