We Change Lives in Leicester is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team at our residential properties. You will perform practical maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to keep spaces safe, welcoming and well maintained for residents and staff.

The role involves painting, decorating, grounds work, furniture setup, and routine inspections. A flexible, part-time schedule and permanent contract support a balanced approach to community care.

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

About Creative Care - Leicester Complex Care Service

Located in the heart of Leicester, Creative Care offers a warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully adapted residential setting for adults with complex care needs. Our service supports individuals living with acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.

What you will be doing?

• Painting and decorating
• General repairs and maintenance
• Groundskeeping and gardening
• Furniture assembly and installation
• Mould checks and Legionella testing
• Keeping accurate maintenance records
• Our properties support individuals with complex mental health needs.
• You may encounter challenging or unexpected behaviours. Trained support staff are always present, and you will not be expected to intervene.
• Small amount of ravelling to community houses (with claimed milage expenses )

Trained staff are always present, and you will not be expected to intervene. You'll simply be expected to greet residents and carry out any required maintenance
