Homes for Students is seeking a Maintenance Operative at our Newarke Point property in Leicester. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across the site, with rota shifts including mornings and afternoons.

You will ensure property conditions meet required standards and statutory compliance, liaising with suppliers and contractors as needed. The successful candidate will have property maintenance experience or trade qualifications, knowledge of health and safety, strong customer care

Qualifications

• Previous experience of property maintenance within a similar environment or qualified in a trade with multi-trade ability.
• Awareness of health and safety issues and legal requirements.
• Excellent customer care skills and ability to report progress clearly.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise with suppliers/contractors.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the property.
• Maintain condition of the property and report issues promptly.
• Ensure statutory compliance is maintained and actions are followed up.
• Contribute to high-quality customer experience through fast, effective fault resolution.
