A leading medical technology business is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Nights) to support their manufacturing operations in Swindon. This role involves carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, ensuring compliance with GMP standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in high volume manufacturing within a GMP environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and/or mechanical support across all areas of manufacturing whilst ensuring adherence to strict GMP standards. This will include both planned and reactive maintenance.

The client are a leading medical technology business developing and producing cutting edge technology to advance the world of health.

Description

As a maintenance Technician you will:

• Carry our a range of preventative and reactive maintenance
• Maintain a range of production machinery across the GMP environment
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs
• Advise on technical issues
• Analyse and monitor breakdown frequency, and monitor machine performance

The role will follow a night shift pattern of 3-on, 3-off from 10pm-10am.

Profile

To be success full you will have:

• Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or tooling / plastic processing
• Experience with high volume manufacturing, ideally in a GMP environment
• Understanding of high speed automated assembly processes
• Excellent problem solving and fault finding ability
