Job summary

Indaver leads in sustainable waste management in Europe. This Essex-based maintenance technician role at the Rivenhall facility focuses on front line mechanical maintenance across process, building and site systems to drive compliance and high operational availability.

You will mentor less experienced technicians and apprentices, work in a 24/7 operation, and contribute to safety through Indaver's Safe System of Work while maintaining equipment including furnaces, boilers and rotating machinery.

Qualifications

SVQ/HNC/HND with significant experience in maintenance.
Lower qualifications accepted with relevant experience.
Experience in complex process industries preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform front line mechanical maintenance across process, building and site systems.
Carry out preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance.
Execute planned and unplanned shutdown activities.
Collaborate with external maintenance providers on site.
Identify and implement plant improvement projects.
Ensure as-built modifications are documented.
Adhere to Indaver Safe System of Work for safety and environment.
